The acting commander of the Lejweleputswa Management Information Centre (MIC) has left the SAPS after more than 34 years of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Capt. Mmase Letsoara enlisted in the SAPS on 28 March 1988, and started as a police constable in Wesselsbron. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During her 34 years in the police force, she has been responsible for the community service centre and supply chain management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She also served as an administration officer before joining the MIC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She climbed the ranks from constable to sergeant to warrant officer, and was promoted to the rank of captain in the Ficksburg SAPS, where she was deployed as MIC commander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Letsoara was transferred to the Welkom Police Station to serve in human resource management. She also served as MIC commander of the Welkom Cluster before being transferred to the Lejweleputswa District Office as the acting commander of the MIC, where she served 20 police stations and specialised units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Letsoara\u2019s farewell celebration was held on 27 March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maj. Gen. Lerato Molale, Lejweleputswa district commissioner, thanked Letsoara for her diligence, commitment and hard work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
