They robbed the business and then tried to force the victims into a stolen vehicle that was parked outside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>One of the victims managed to stay in the shop, while the other one was shot in the leg when he refused to get into the vehicle. About eight shots were fired.<\/strong><span style=\"font-size:15.0pt;font-family:Roboto;mso-fareast-font-family:'Times New Roman';mso-bidi-font-family:'Times New Roman';mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA;\"><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The kidnappers managed to force the 23-year-old man into the vehicle and fled the scene.<span style=\"font-size:15.0pt;font-family:Roboto;mso-fareast-font-family:'Times New Roman';mso-bidi-font-family:'Times New Roman';mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA;\"><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wounded victim (38) was treated on the scene and then taken to hospital. The customers were unharmed and fled the scene.<span style=\"font-size:15.0pt;font-family:Roboto;mso-fareast-font-family:'Times New Roman';mso-bidi-font-family:'Times New Roman';mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA;\"><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A hostage negotiator communicated with the kidnappers. They initially demanded R100\u2009000 on threat of killing the victim.<span style=\"font-size:15.0pt;font-family:Roboto;mso-fareast-font-family:'Times New Roman';mso-bidi-font-family:'Times New
