The sixth suspect in a pending incitement of violence case against the mayor of Theunissen and five cohorts was arrested on Monday (04\/07) and appeared in court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Karabo Brian Tseki was granted R2 000 bail in the Theunissen Magistrate\u2019s Court on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The mayor of the Masilonyana Local Municipality, Dimakatso Modise, and four others have been charged with incitement to commit public violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Modise was arrested for inciting violence within the period of 14 April to 30 June 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The others are former Speaker Diphapang Maselo, Hongizwa Naki, Tshepo Stephen Maredi and Masetjhaba Tsoaela. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
