beauty has her eye on title"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A 12-year-old girl from Welkom hopes to not only make herself proud, but the entire province too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In October she wants to bring home the title Little Miss South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hamame Ashengo, daughter of Tsegaye and Moleboheng, won Little Miss Free State in April at the Windmill Casino in Bloemfontein. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She now hopes to continue her success at the Little Miss South Africa event in October. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She ascribes having achieved her success at the Free State pageant to the support she received from her parents, her family and her school, Dunamis Christian school in Welkom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hamame has been modelling since the age of 7 and has won many titles in the past six years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAll credit goes to my mom who has made it possible for me to believe in myself in every possible way along the journey,\u201d says Hamame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To realise her dream in October she needs the support of her community. \u201cWith my community\u2019s support I aim to bring the title back home and with this I want to inspire many more little girls to believe in themselves and know that no matter how young they are, achievements can be made in life,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 12-year-old girl from Welkom hopes to
