In moontlik die eerste saak van sy soort <\/strong>in Suid-Afrika het \u2019n 33-jarige tatoe\u00eberkunstenaar skuldig gepleit op kindermishandeling, en is sy R40 000 of twee jaar gevangenisstraf opgel\u00ea, nadat sy \u2019n tatoe op \u2019n minderjarige aangebring het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carolina Nagel (33) van Bothaville het op 19 September in die Welkom-streekhof skuldig gepleit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charmaine Labuschagne, streekhof-beheeraanklaer in die hof vir seksuele misdrywe, en ook die aanklaer wat die saak beslis het, s\u00ea Nagel het eers in haar verto\u00eb verklaar dat sy nie daarvan bewus was dat die meisie net 15 jaar oud was nie.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Labuschagne s\u00ea egter dit was duidelik van die minder\u00adjarige en haar vriendin dat dit wel die geval was; nietemin het Nagel voortgegaan. Nagel het die kind gevra hoe oud sy was, en of sy toestemming van haar ouers het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDie kind het vir Nagel ges\u00ea haar ouers weet nie, maar tog het sy besluit om daarmee voort te gaan. Sy het vir die kind ges\u00ea sy moenie haar ouers vertel wie dit gedoen het nie,\u201d s\u00ea Labuschagne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die ma van die minderjarige het onraad vermoed toe haar dogter heeltyd kouse en langbroeke gedra het. Sy het haar kind beveel om haar broekspype op te trek sodat sy haar bene kon sien. Sy sien toe dat daar \u2019n pandabeertjie aan die kind se enkel ge\u00adtatoe\u00eber is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEk het navorsing gedoen en gesien in hierdie geval was dit \u2019n oortreding van die Kinderwet, sowel as verskeie regulasies van die Gesondheidswet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSuid-Afrika is een van min lande met geen ouderdomsbeperking wat tatoe\u00ebrwerk reguleer nie, maar volgens die Kinderwet kom die tatoe\u00eber van \u2019n minderjarige neer op mishandeling, en dit maak dit \u2019n oortreding om enigiemand onder die ouderdom van 18 jaar te tatoe\u00eber. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
