A Welkom family was robbed at gunpoint by three African males aged between 30 and 35 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Sunday, 3 October, three armed robbers entered a block of flats in Doorn, Welkom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They pointed firearms at a family who live in one of the flats and demanded money from them. The robbers instructed the family to lie on the ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They took an undisclosed amount of cash from one of the victims, as well as cellphones found in one of the bedrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe incident was reported at the Welkom police station and a case of house robbery was registered for further investigation\u201d, says Sgt Fikiswa Matoti, spokesperson for the Free State police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An identity kit was used to reconstruct the face of one of the suspects. He is light in complexion, has a medium build and is 1.8 m tall. He was wearing a navy-blue wool hat, a navy-blue jacket, green trousers and beige boots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
