Six suspects including two foreign nationals have been arrested for stealing groceries from Ntutuzelo Primary School in Bultfontein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA business burglary case has been registered after groceries was stolen at a school in Phahameng, Bultfontein. Four suspects were arrested with two foreign national business owners for buying suspected stolen properties,\u201d says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison officer for the Lejweleputswa SAPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thakeng says the burglary took place on 20 October. Members of Bultfontein Crime Prevention received a tip-off about the stolen items. They investigated, which led to the four suspects being arrested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDuring the interrogation, they told the police who they had sold the stolen groceries to. They took the members of the Crime Prevention Unit to tuck shops that belonged to foreign nationals. The stolen groceries were found and seized. The arrested suspects are aged between 16 to 30 years,\u201d says Thakeng.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The following items were seized: Lucky Star tinned fish, milk, beans and sugar. The foreign nationals are facing a charge of the possession of suspected stolen items, while the four suspects will face a charge of business burglary.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
