Gender based violence and femicide, sexual offences and domestic violence were all highlighted during a joint awareness campaign in Bronville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The initiative was held on 28\/10 by the members of Social Crime Prevention led by Warrant Officer Dennis Wangra, in conjunction with the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) and the Community Service Centre in Bronville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WO Wangra addressed the residents and spoke about these critical issues which are affecting the Bronville community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wangra also encouraged residents to report suspects who are destroying Matjhabeng infrastructure. Reporters may remain anonymous and must call the Crime Stop number 08600 10111.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Members of the DCS encouraged young people to abstain from crime and substance abuse and emphasized that parolees will continue to be monitored with the assistance of Bronville SAPS members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Residents were also encouraged to be part of the CPF and Sector Forums so that they be made aware of crime trends in Bronville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
