This house on the corner of Naude and Othello Street in St Helena, Welkom, (95 Naude) has caught fire on two separate occasions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the second fire, the occupant(s) left. It appears to have been abandoned by the owner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apart from the obvious eye-sore, which must impact on the value of surrounding properties, it is also being used by vagrants as a place to live and sort and dump rubbish. It therefore poses not only a serious health risk, but is also a potential crime hotspot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This situation has been reported on several occasions, but it would appear that nothing has yet been done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hopefully this letter will highlight the situation and spur the responsible agencies into action.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
