\n The Thabong Primary School, the first primary school built in the township in the 1950s, has been going through a rough start to the year following numerous incidents of the theft of school property, including a generator. <\/s1>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n In a quest to rebuild the school, which has seen many prominent graduates like police officers, nurses and educators, the school management has embarked on a fundraising campaign that will kick off this Saturday (04\/03) at the school.<\/s1>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n \u201cThe event will start at 09:00, and all old learners are invited to attend and help their alma mater,\u201d says Molema Mochudi, prominent Goldfielder and old learner of the school. <\/s1>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n \u201cThis reunion is targeting all old learners of the school. <\/s1>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n \u201cAmong the activities planned for the day will be a car wash, braai and jumping castle, as well as donations of sanitary products and toiletries,\u201d says Mochudi.<\/s1>
