\u201cLigte\u201d is \u2019n gepaste woord op my lippe vandag. As ek in die Bybel na die woord soek is daar soveel mooi verse wat my wys na die een wat die lig vir die w\u00eareld is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Johannes 8:12 lees ons: \u201cEk is die lig vir die w\u00eareld, wie my volg sal nooit in die duisternis lewe nie maar sal die lig h\u00ea wat lewe gee.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As ons vir die woord \u201cligte\u201d betekenis gee, sou ek dit soos volg verwoord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cL\u201d staan vir liefde vir jou naaste en jouself. Jesus het dit ons gegee as \u2019n opdrag. Dit is die belangrikste naas die eerste gebod: \u201cJy moet die Here jou God liefh\u00ea met jou hele hart, siel, verstand en met al jou krag.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ons is soms suinig met ons liefde. Ons kan mekaar eerder verskeur as omhels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit laat my dink aan \u2019n vrou wat vir Churchill ges\u00ea het: \u201cIf you were my husband. I would give you poison!\u201d Churchill het geantwoord: \u201cIf you were my wife, I would gladly drink it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n Geen wonder nie dat ons net genoeg liefde het om mekaar te haat, nie genoeg om mekaar lief te h\u00ea nie.<\/span>As jy nie lief het nie, skyn jou lig maar floutjies of dit is eintlik afgeskakel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u201d staan vir \u201cimitate<\/i>\u201d om iemand se voorbeeld te volg. Dit beteken mense wat s\u00ea hulle glo in Jesus, moet presies doen wat Jesus gedoen het en sy voorbeeld volg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ek en jy is Christus se verteenwoordigers hier op die aarde. Ons is hier om namens Christus op te tree. Kom ons maak Jesus se stories weer lewend in vandag se lewe. Elke verhaal wat ek so in die Bybel lees, gee vir seker vir my weer hoop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cG\u201d staan vir gee 100% van jouself! Joan Baez, \u2019n folksangeres van lank terug, het \u2019n slim ding ges\u00ea: \u201cYou don\u2019t get to choose how you are going to die or when. You can only decide how you\u2019re going to live.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ek wil graag onthou word as iemand wat my 100% vir Jesus gegee het want as ek dit doen, het ek 100% sinvol geleef en boonop die lewe geniet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Om jou 100% te gee beteken dat jy altyd sal doen wat jy glo. Wat glo jy? Om Jesus met en in alles te vertrou. Met ander woorde \u201cyou practice what you preach\u201d. <\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cT\u201d staan vir Tree gasvry op. Gasvryheid is \u2019n kenmerk van elke Christen, omdat God ons laat tuis voel het, laat ons ander ook tuis voel. Deur gasvry teenoor ander mense te wees onthaal jy eintlik vir Jesus self. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daar is niks so kosbaar soos om met mekaar vriendelik te wees nie, mooi woorde te spreek en daarby vir mekaar te wys jy gee om.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cE\u201d staan vir vertel die evangelie aan ander. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wat beteken die woord \u201cevangelie?\u201d William Tyn\u00addale, die Bybelvertaler, skryf in 1525 in sy voorwoord tot die Nuwe Testament, Evangelie \u2013 wat kom van die Griekse woord Euangelio \u2013 beteken goeie, gelukkige, blye en vreugdevolle nuus, wat \u2019n mens se hart bly maak en jou laat sing, lag, dans en spring van vreugde.\u201d<\/ld><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit is my gebed. Dat ons weer vir die woord \u201cLigte\u201d betekenis gee vir vandag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus, U weet sonder U kan ek nie skyn nie. Maak my weer die persoon vol liefde; U voorbeeld te volg deur om te gee vir hulle om my, sodat ek weer kan sing, lag, dans en soveel vreugde sal ervaar, met die wete dat U wat binne my is, die verskil maak rondom my. \u2013 Heidi Mc Laren<\/span> is \u2019n jeugleraar aan die<\/span>NG kerk Bedelia<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
