Four armed men who forced entry into a house in Meloding and stole computer equipment and other items valued at R2 380, have been arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 15 June the 31-year-old complainant was asleep at his residence in Steka Street, Meloding, Virginia, when there was a knock on the door. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When he responded, the door was kicked open and the four men forced their way in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The house was ransacked and they took a computer box, a wire fence, a graphic card, a Sat cable and a USB stick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident was reported to Meloding police and a case of house robbery was registered for further investigation. Members of the Meloding crime prevention unit received a tip-off, which led to the arrest of four suspects aged between 24 and 31. All the stolen items were found in their possession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The acting district commissioner of Lejweleputswa, Brig. Mzondi Mojafi, applauded members of Meloding Visible Policing for responding quickly and arresting the suspects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
