On 16 June, the Safa office in Lejweleputswa, in partnership with the LM Kwebu Foundation, held an U17 football tournament in Thabong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was one of the first tournaments of what will be an annual tournament held by the aforementioned entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tournament had ten participating teams from around Welkom, Matjhabeng. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the final match played at the Letsete Secondary School, Napoli FC defeated City Rangers 4 \u2013 3 on penalties after the game had ended in a 1 \u2013 1 draw. Zingu 7 played City Rangers, and Welkom Galaxy played Napoli in the semifinals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
