One man died, and four others were injured, during a gang-related tavern shooting in Thabong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Saturday (01\/07) the members of Thabong Visible Policing were busy with routine crime prevention when they were summoned to a shooting incident at Samuel\u2019s Tavern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There they found one man lying on the ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He had been shot in the stomach, and was identified by his brother as Neo Malobehla (22). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There were four other gunshot victims, who were all taken to a nearby hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The station commander of Thabong, Brig. Envor Solomon, activated a 72-hour plan to trace the suspects. A team comprised of Thabong Detective Services, Crime Intelligence, the Serious and Violent Crimes task team and Visible Policing was put together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two suspects aged 25 and 30 were subsequently arrested on Monday. One of them is an undocumented foreign national. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They were charged with murder and four counts of attempted murder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two additional suspects are still at large and the manhunt continues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
