For 21 years Vista<\/i><\/span>has been the main media sponsor of the annual Medi\u00adClinic\/Vista<\/i><\/span>Eskom Athletics Club FS Road Race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an honour for the club to announce that Vista<\/i><\/span>will be supporting this landmark annual event in road running in South Africa,\u201d says Hilde du Plessis, event organiser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis year our theme is \u2018Teamwork makes the dream work\u2019 and the support that we receive from Vista<\/i><\/span>testifies to this. Thank you, Vista<\/i>,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entries have opened for this exciting race that will take place on Friday, 25 August. Entries will be open up to the day of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe race\/walk represents a festival and an unique opportunity to socialise and to build team spirit, not only for the women, but for family and friends. This is a race to look forward in celebration of National Women\u2019s month. The 2023 slogan and theme sum up the feelings of this year\u2019s race \u2013 Teamwork makes the dream work<\/i>, a motivation to be successful in entering this popular event,\u201d says Du Plessis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the third consecutive year Vista<\/i>\u2019s Ryno Kirsten has designed the official race banner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur 21st anniversary celebration is done in conjunctuion with the main sponsor Mediclinic, and the main media sponsor Vista<\/i>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are also supported by our medical service provider, ER24, PKF Auditors, Lesedi ICT, Office National, Virgin Active, Battery Centre, Cito\u2019s, Capital Sounds support and all of the other sponsors who will be part of the event to make this year extra special,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also acts as a fundraiser for the Charlotte Moll Haven, CANSA and SANBS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entries can be done either on entryninja.com, per hand at (office hours only), Office National in Ararat road, PKF Auditors, Lesedi ICT in Stateway and at Virgin Active on 21, 22, 23 and 24 August from 14:00 to 19:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year there are three fun, walk, active races (In Her Honour) over 1,5 km. These include the wheelchair\/disabled persons, children (7 to 15 years), toddlers (3-6) and Masters (men and women). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These races will take place between 16:30 and 17:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 18:00 the 5 km fun walk\/dash for women only (For Joy), starts and at 18:30 the 5 km open for men and women (For Love) starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n <\/span>will share the latest information in the newspaper, Vista<\/span>\u2019s<\/i> website (Netwerk24 and News24) and on Facebook page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry forms are available at the Vista<\/i><\/span>office and at the main Welkom Mediclinic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
