A celebration of more than two decades of road running excellence was celebrated when road runners competed in the 21st Mediclinic Vista<\/em> Women\u2019s Road Race, hosted by Eskom Athletic Club Free State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total number of 1 172 participants entered and partook in the 2023 celebration: Teamwork Makes the Dream Work<\/em>, following the route to success and claiming their gold 21th celebration medal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cold and windy weather did not influence the great spirit and excitement of the participants who all ran in honour of Her Family, Her Love and Her Joy. The roadrace supports Cansa and the Charlotte Moll Haven and it endeavours to create an awareness for SANBS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cWhat made this year even more special was the support we received throughout, and thank you for the opportunity to host the event in partnership with <\/strong>Vista<\/strong> (media sponsor) and the main sponsor Mediclinic. In the 100 m and 1.5 km Children\u2019s Girls and Boys there were 161 entrants, in the 1.5 km Masters Women and Men, thirteen runners entered, in the Wheelchair\/disabled category there was one male entrant, in the 5 km Women\u2019s Big Walk\/Fun Run there were 600 entrants and in the Open 5 km Registered Ladies and Mens Race there were 400 entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
