Various activities were conducted as part of awareness and in celebration of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The motto of the day was \u201cSee the world through the visually impaired.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 12 September prosthetic eyes were fitted at the hospital, free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>During this period an eye operations marathon (cataract removal) was also orchestrated.
