On 14 November Ilse Pretorius, winner of the Dream Girl Global People\u2019s Choice pageant was instrumental in getting a substantial donation from Christelle Christowitz of a local pet store at Welkom Square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Christelle said her shop has been in Welkom for six years. \u201cIt is always nice to help a worthy charity,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pretorius did all of the organising to get the food to its destination. \u201cThey are absolutely amazing, and Christelle was so awesome in lending us a big hand to make it possible. We are very grateful for the support.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rochelle Howard of Claws said it was a welcomed gift indeed. \u201cThis was far more than we expected, and this spectacular donation changes the animals\u2019 lives here at our Claws orphanage, because that is what Claws really is.
