The theft took place between 19:00 on 13 December and 01:30 on 14 December, and the damage to the infrastructure at the plant is estimated at R2 million rand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A case of theft of copper cable and damage to infrastructure was registered for further investigation, says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison officer for the Lejweleputswa SAPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Should anyone have information that will lead to the arrests and successful conviction of the suspects, they must contact Det. Sgt Nnana Thekiso of Theunissen Detective Services on 082-301-3028. Informants can also contact the Crime Stop number \u2013 08600 10111, or alternatively they can share information anonymously on the MySAPS App.
