A tip-off to the police has led to the arrest of three suspects for burglary at a farm house in Wesselsbron. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Members of the Selosesha and Welkom Tactical Response Team (TRT) were deployed after receiving information about suspects who stole rifles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The three suspects allegedly committed a burglary at one of the farmhouses in the Wesselsbron district, and wanted to sell the stolen rifles in Lesotho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 24 January, the sergeant at the scene used his private vehicle to approach a house at a section called Dipompong Monyakeng in Wesselsbron. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Three suspects were found inside the house with firearms and ammunition, covered with a duvet, placed on the bed. One of the suspects was also found in possession of a .357 Magnum revolver. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The trio, aged 33, 34, and 41 years, respectively, do not have a license to be in possession of firearms and ammunition. They all reside in Wesselsbron. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The following was seized: a Fuji dynamic auto shotgun with a visible serial number; a Piettro Beretta Musgrave 12ga shotgun; a Mauser hunting rifle (serial number visible); a silver hunting rifle (serial number visible); a .357 Magnum revolver (serial number visible); 12 SP-12 red shotgun live rounds; 15 green SP-12 live rounds, and 25 .357 Magnum live rounds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
