The February flea market will now take place on the sports grounds of the Welkom Technical High School (THS), a favourite second-choice venue for the beloved market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dulcie Harris, spokesperson for the WPA, says the market is popular and often referred to as the people\u2019s market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnother favourite reference is to the friendly exhibitors and good shopping experience it provides. Well, these are the things the WPA strives to achieve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are a professional team of volunteers, working hard at pleasing our community,\u201d says Harris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the Valentine\u2019s Market, and besides the usual stalls like clothes, jewelry, home-made delights, leather, wood and steel crafts, household cleaning materials, and much more, there will be additional entertainment activities like paint ball and archery for the adventurous types, and fun rides and jumping castles for children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The surprise element for this month\u2019s market is the launch of a brand new boot sale component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
