Members of Welkom Public Order Policing arrested a suspected drug dealer after receiving information that learners at a high school in Welkom had been caught with dagga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The operation, led by WO Thabo Booy, was launched after the unit had received the information from a teacher at the school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 23 April the police members approached learners to interrogate them, which resulted in a house in Thabong being searched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When they saw the police, the owner of the house tried to hide the dagga behind the kitchen cupboard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police found 58 small ziplock packets and five medium-sized ziplock packets containing dagga that weighed 0,142 g. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They also found R2 568 in cash on the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
