Two brothers who were pointed out by a community member in Thabong were arrested on suspicion of housebreaking and theft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 11 May, members of the Welkom Public Order Policing, led by WO Thabo Booy, were busy with crime combating in Thabong when they were stopped by a resident who reported an incident of housebreaking and theft to them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She told the police that she had information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects and the stolen items. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They followed up, and a house in Orange Groove, New Stands, Thabong, was identified. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two brothers aged 26 and 28 were found with stolen items, and arrested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a separate incident the police were again approached by a community member who reported a suspect who was wanted for housebreaking, theft and malicious damage to property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A man wearing a red T-shirt was identified. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When he saw the marked police vehicle approaching him, he fled and they pursued him. He was found hiding in a house in Thabong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A 36-year-old suspect was arrested for housebreaking and theft and malicious damage to property, that was committed earlier in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
