On 19 June upon arrival at the Bongani hospital I was assisted by a nurse who did a great job in assisting us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The problem occurred when it came to fetching my medication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was made to wait for a file that the dispensary needed to assist with the medication. The doctor wrote everything down. Keep in mind it says on the wall the period of time you will be waiting for assistance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In my case it took a whole 240 minutes plus waiting at the dispensary. I waited an additional 60 minutes for my file to be given to the dispensary team, and to no avail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I went back to paediatrics at the children ward, because my child was sick and was having seizures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They told me that the procedure had changed, and apparently there is only one person working with patient file. She was waiting for us to be assisted by the doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We arrived at 09:00, and after a four hours\u2019 wait I decided to take pictures to show how people were just sitting in the dispensary to collect their medication. This is unacceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What I know is that when you are done with the doctor, they give your file and you go collect your medication. This did not happen. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
