A Brandford woman was kidnapped at knife point and held against her will for several days, before being rescued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Brandford police have arrested a 30-year-old man for kidnapping and rape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 26 July the 33-year-old woman was walking home from a drinking spree at a tavern when a man known to her offered to take her home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was forced into a shack where she was held for several days while he allegedly raped her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe sister of the victim reported her missing, and she was subsequently found by the police. A 30-year-old man was arrested by Const. Vuyisile Salemane and Sgt. Kgupiso Mokokoane of Brandfort Police on 29 July. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWomen are sternly warned not to drink until late at taverns and then walk home alone at night,\u201d says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison officer for the lejweleputswa police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a separate incident in Thabong on 26 July a disgruntled clinic patient threw a bucket of faeces at a worker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A 38-year-old man entered the Thabong premises and alleged that the employee of the clinic never provided him with his tablets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then threw human faeces on the victim. During the attack clinic files, a heater, a kettle, cups and filing cabinets were affected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident was reported to Thabong police station and a case of assault and malicious damage to property was registered for further investigation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspect was arrested and charged on 30 July. He was warned to appear in the Welkom Magistrate\u2019s Court on 7 August. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
