A foreign national was arrested in possession of 1,5 kg of CAT drugs valued at R400 000 in the Welkom CBD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Members of the Welkom Public Order Policing initiated an operation in Welkom CBD when information was operationalised about a foreign national selling drugs at a fast food venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 12 September the police searched the premisses and found 16 plastic packets containing CAT drugs in the ceiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The drugs weighed 1,485 kg. They also confiscated R600 cash. The 39-year-old man was arrested for dealing and possession of drugs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A 47-year-old woman, a foreign national, was arrested at the same premises for illegal immigration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two suspects will soon appear in the Welkom Magistrates\u2019 Court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
