Three armed would-be robbers were arrested by the police in Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 25 November at about 12:45, the Virginia police received an intelligence led information about four armed men in a silver Toyota Avanza heading towards Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police officials advanced and drove around in Queensway until the vehicle was spotted, a brief chase ensued and the suspect\u2019s vehicle came to an abrupt stop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Three men jumped out and started running. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the suspects started shooting at the police. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police returned fire and the man was cornered and arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two other suspects were also apprehended after the police found them hiding in a bush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They found a 9 mm pistol star Norinco with three live rounds and a black blow P29 9 mm with two rounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Preliminary investigations revealed that the three suspects were illegal immigrants, and that the vehicle used was also stolen in Thabong in May 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
