The Matjhabeng Community Foundation will on 11 December embark on a protest to hand over a memorandum of demand to, amongst others, the Office of the President, minister of Cogta, SAPS, Special Investigating Unit (SIU), Hawks, strategic companies and key stakeholders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
About 2500 people, who include members of the South African Municipal Workers\u2019 Union (Samwu), the business community and the Matjhabeng community, are expected to join the march, which will begin at the Thabong Community Centre and move to the central park in Welkom. The meeting point for other participants from the rest of Matjhabeng units will be at the Orange circle in Welkom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The spokesman of the foundation, Shima Mahlatsi, is adamant about the turnout, saying \u201cthe time has come for the community of Matjhabeng, black and white, to say enough is enough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
