{"id":45923,"date":"2025-02-20T06:05:45","date_gmt":"2025-02-20T04:05:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/vistanews\/die-lig-van-god-is-al-wat-tel-20250219-2\/"},"modified":"2025-03-21T15:36:13","modified_gmt":"2025-03-21T13:36:13","slug":"die-lig-van-god-is-al-wat-tel-20250219-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/vistanews\/die-lig-van-god-is-al-wat-tel-20250219-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Die lig van God is al wat tel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In die liturgiese kerkjaar is ons tans in Epifanie, gefokus op Jesus se werk op aarde, waardeur ons saam met hom op die weg is, saam met die Lig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maar, soos enige reis is dit nie altyd maklik nie; daar is altyd \u2019n slaggat in die pad, of dalk \u2019n verkeerde afdraai wat ons iewers gevat het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die vraag is nie soseer hoe ons by ons bestemming uitkom of hoe die pad gelyk het nie, maar eerder: Hoe was my reaksie op hierdie reis?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dink maar aan ou Israel, uiteindelik uit Egipte, weg van verdrukking in die woestyn saam met Moses \u2013 waar hul leier besig is om met die Here te praat raak hulle angstig. A\u00e4ron bou \u2018n goue kalf en die huis Israel aanbid d\u00edt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toe Moses van die berg afkom, gooi hy die twee kliptafels met die gebooie stukkend, in woede, en loop maar weer die berg op om met die Here praat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moses kom n\u00e1 40 dae van die berg af; die Wet van die Here ons God in sy hande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moses was by God, in al sy heerlikheid en glorie, en Moses se gesig straal van die goeie nuus, van God se lig wat deur die duisternis breek; maar Israel vrees dit. Ons vrees dit. Waarom?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoekom kyk ons so gereeld weg wanneer die goedheid van God voor ons verskyn? Waarom is ons bang vir die Lig? Waarom bly ons so vasgevang in ons eie ellende en duisternis dat ons dink dat die reis net oor onsself gaan?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanjaar, 2025, is \u2019n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>besonderse jaar vir saam reis op die lewenspad \u2013 1 700 jaar n\u00e1 die konsilie van Nice\u00e0 van 325 AD, waar een van ons eerste belydenisskrifte ont<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>staan het en die kern- belydende woorde van God gespreek is: \u201cGod uit God, Lig uit Lig\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Juis die Lig wat Moses se gesig so laat straal het, die Lig wat op elkeen van ons se gesig moet wees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waarom steek ons die Lig agter \u2019n sluier weg? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waarom getuig ons so vinnig meer van ons eie duisternis, ons swakpunte? Ons praat so maklik en lees so maklik van al die slaggate op die pad en verkeerde afdraaiplekke op ons lewensreis saam met God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As ons rondom ons kyk en fyn luister, saai ons net duisternis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wat het geword van die goeie nuus?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalk moet ons teruggaan na daardie eerste belydende woorde; dalk moet ons ook met \u2019n stralende gesig saam met God en mekaar die<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>lewensreis loop. Die bestemming en die situasies rondom my maak nie saak nie \u2013 die lig van God wat in my woon, wat op my gesig moet vertoon en hoe ek reageer op my pad saam met Hom, is al wat tel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoe ek op die lewensreis in 2025 gaan reageer, gaan bepaal of ek deel gaan wees van die Lig of gaan swig in die duisternis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Ds.
