Kingdom Ministries in Welkom will be running a course, Griefshare, to help people who have lost someone in death to help them in their grief journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will start on Wednesday evening, 5 March, and will run for 13 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Liz Botha of Kingdom Ministries says this kind of action is much needed in the community and they serve anyone who wants to join.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMany of us have experienced grief in the past, and possibly still very new, whether it\u2019s a spouse, child, parents, other family members and friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is a difficult, traumatic, emotional and sad time and one just withdraws from society and hope it will go away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is help and a support group to help you to accept and cope with the loss of your loved one. Griefshare is a Christian based course and each week you are given tools to help cope and handle your grief. Some of the lessons we deal with omc;ude: Is this normal, loneliness and sadness, anger, regrets, stuck in grief, what do I live for now and others,\u201d says Botha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The course will run at Kingdom Ministries, corner of Arrarat and Tempest in Dagbreek, Welkom. The course will take place every Wednesday, at 18:30. The course is open to anyone who needs help. The course costs R250 which includes a comprehensive manual to keep and is vital part of the healing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
