Groot dele van Odendaalsrus, Hennenman, Virginia en ander dorpe is die afgelope week deur voortdurende kragonderbrekings getref weens swak instandhouding van die kragnetwerk.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manie Pretorius, VF Plus-raadslid in Matjhabeng, s\u00ea die situasie het s\u00f3 ernstig geraak dat pasi\u00ebnte weens ‘n gebrek aan suurstof na ander hospitale oorgeplaas moes word. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die kragkrisis het ook ‘n direkte invloed op watervoorsiening. Volgens Vaal Sentraal Water is watervoorsiening aan onder meer Welkom, Odendaalsrus, Hennenman, Phomolong, Ventersburg, Wesselsbron en Monakeng negatief geraak n\u00e1 Eskom-kragonderbrekings by die De Erf-pompstasie. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die VF Plus glo dat bevoegde bestuur noodsaaklik is om Matjhabeng se verval te keer en dienslewering te herstel. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
