Die begin van die verhoor van die ses beskuldigdes in die berugte aanrandingsaak waarby ‘n 81-jarige slagoffer betrokke is, is vir 10 Julie vasgestel. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Julie 2025 is ‘n 64-jarige vrou en vyf ander beskuldigdes in hegtenis geneem op aanklagte van poging tot moord, ontvoering en aanranding met die doel om ernstige liggaamlike leed te veroorsaak. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die verhoor is geskeduleer om in die Welkom Streekshof voort te gaan. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ses versorrgers van ‘n huis vir bejaardes in Welkom was in 2025 in hegtenis geneem op aanklagte van poging tot moord, ontvoering en aanranding met die doel om ernstige liggaamlike leed te veroorsaak. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In ‘n nuwe wending is die hoofbeskuldigde in hierdie omstrede saak, wat die aanranding en marteling van die slagoffer by ‘n sentrum vir verswakte bejaardes in Welkom behels, op 18 Maart in hegtenis geneem n\u00e1 bewerings van bedrog. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die 64-jarige sou Vrydag in die Welkom Landdroshof verskyn, maar die saak is nie op die rol geplaas nie, aangesien die aanklaer aspekte van die saak bevraagteken het. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit sal vir ‘n latere datum herskeduleer word.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Op 18 Maart het ‘n man agtergekom sy bankkaart is by verskillende winkels in Welkom gebruik. Hy het besef sy bankkaart is nie in sy besit nie en het by die winkels gaan navraag doen. Kringtelevisie-beeldmateriaal het onthul dat die 64-jarige verdagte na bewering betalings met die slagoffer se bankkaart gedoen het. ‘n Saak van bedrog is by die polisie aangemeld.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Voorlopige ondersoeke is gedoen, en die vroulike verdagte is op Woensdag 18 Maart op ‘n aanklag van bedrog by haar huis in hegtenis geneem, ” s\u00ea sers. Palesa Thabana, woordvoerder van die SAPD in Lejweleputswa.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
