Louise Fox, bekend as Welkom se bobaasbakster, is op Vrydag 5 Desember in die ouderdom van 73 oorlede.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louise is gebore in Welkom op 17 September 1952, en het haar lewe lank hier gewoon. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sy was getroud met wyle Gert Fox, ‘n bekende fotograaf in die omgewing. Hy was 59-jaar oud met sy afsterwe op 31 Desember 2005.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louise was bekend vir haar trou-, verjaardag-, doop-, en Kerskoeke. Sy was veral bekend vir koekversiering en was ‘n suikerkunstenaar.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sy het altyd graag vertel dat haar ma, Babs Jacobs, op haar dag ‘n koekbakster en versierder in eie reg was. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louise het die Suid-Afrikaanse koekversiersgilde in Welkom gestig, waarvan sy later jare die voorsitter was.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sy het ges\u00ea dat koekbak en versierwerk harde werk is, maar dit gee ‘n mens soveel plesier. Sy het ook daarvan gehou om lesse aan te bied. Haar gebak was gewild en bestellings het vroe\u00ebr jare van oor die hele Suid-Afrika heen, en ook van oorsee af, ingestroom.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Sy was goed vir Welkom en sy mense, en geliefd deur almal wat haar geken het,” s\u00ea haar dogter, Brunhilde Fox.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sy word deur haar seun, Werner; dogter, Brunhilde; kleinkind, Keynan; en susters Elsa, Lynette en broer Tok Jacobs oorleef.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
