This heartbreaking incident occurred in the presence of fellow students and staff, and has deeply affected the entire campus community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The University is working closely with the Dean of Students and the student leadership to ensure that all affected individuals receive the necessary emotional and psychological support during this difficult time,&#8221; said a spokesperson for CUT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Counselling services have been made available to students and staff through the CUT Wellness Centre. In light of this tragedy, and in remembrance of the student, all academic activities at the Welkom Campus were suspended on Tuesday, 30 September.
