On Friday, 20 June, the Free State MEC for Health, Monyatso Mahlatsi, conducted a visit to the Lejweleputswa District.
He inspected two health facilities: Bophelong Clinic and Leratong Clinic in Allanridge. These clinics were closed in April 2025 due to a prohibition notice issued by the Department of Employment and Labour, citing non-compliance with health and safety regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his visit, Mahlatsi also toured the Kutlwanong District Hospital in Odendaalsrus, as well as the SCM Store located in the Lejweleputswa District Office, which suffered damage from a fire in May 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
