Warm up with flavoured pork mince in curry and rice, or in a traditional vetkoek. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients:\n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

1 onion;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15ml crushed garlic;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1kg MALU Pork<\/a> mince;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

60ml medium curry powder;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

60ml chutney or apricot jam;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

25ml turmeric;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

20ml white vinegar;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

400g canned veggies in brine (discard the brine); and\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 bay leaves.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method:\n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

1. Over medium heat, fry the onion and garlic until light brown.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Add the pork mince and fry until cooked.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Add the curry powder, chutney, turmeric and vinegar, mix through and allow to cook for five minutes.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Add the canned veggies, mix through.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Add the bay leaves and close the lid. Turn off the heat and allow to rest 10 to 15 minutes.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
