Annestaysha George, alumnus of Uitenhage High School, has been selected to represent University Sports South Africa at the upcoming World University Games in Rhine- Ruhr, Germany from July 16 to July 17, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This prestigious event will see the best student athletes from around the globe competing in various sports, including track and field.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Annestaysha, who matriculated from Uitenhage High School in 2022, has demonstrated remarkable talent and dedication in sprinting, specialising in the 100m and 200m events. Her hard work and perseverance has earned her this incredible opportunity to showcase her skills on an international stage.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement Uitenhage High said that this achievement not only highlights Annestaysha’s excellence, but also reflects the quality of training and support provided by her family, Uitenhage High and Uitenhage Primary. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
