The driver allegedly did not stop at the accident scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to SAPS spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, it is alleged that at approximately 17:30 on the abovementioned date, the deceased, 62-year-old Sandra Lottering, was coming from Despatch towards Khayamnandi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;As she was crossing the road, a white VW Jetta 2019 model bumped her; she died on the scene and the vehicle drove off without stopping at the accident scene. At the location, the SAPS members found a right-side mirror and a lower car cover,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She added that SAPS Despatch are looking for the driver of the white 2019 VW Jetta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone with information that could help identify the VW Jetta driver is asked to contact SAPS Despatch on 082 441 7900, or Crime Stop on 08600 10111, or visit their nearest police station.
