A 31-year-old man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in Motherwell on Saturday, March 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, at about 17:00, SAPS Motherwell was conducting patrols around NU5 when community members stopped them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Community members informed the police about a vehicle on Gugura Street, NU5, containing a deceased individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“On arrival, they found the deceased (31) in his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. According to information at the scene, the passenger was rushed to hospital for treatment,” she reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She added that the motive for the attack and the suspects remain unknown. A case of murder and attempted murder is under investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
