WITH 15 years\u2019 experience in public relations and communications in the automotive industry, Andile Dlamini has as from September 1st assume responsibility for Volkswagen Communications as Head of Group Communications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He joined VWSA in 2008 as Volkswagen\u2018s product PR manager followed by a stint as personal assistant to the chairman and managing director. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matt Gennrich, who officially retired from Volkswagen after 38 years of service in March, has been overseeing the transition on a contractual basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He will continue to serve the company as a consultant until the end of the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe would like to thank Matt for his loyal service, dedication and contribution to the company in his many different roles over the years,\u201d said Thomas Schaefer, Chairman and Managing Director, Volkswagen Group South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
