IN an open Allan Gray entrepreneurship challenge for Grade 8 to 12 learners in South Africa, Sara Gopal from Riebeek College Girls\u2019 High School in Uitenhage has won second position out of 5 000 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The entrepreneurship challenge is run by the Alan Gray Foundation and learners have on a daily basis to compete entrepreneurial challenges on internet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Three Riebeek learners are doing particularly well in the competition: Teneal Rudman and Sara Gopal are among the top 30 whilst Jessica Craill is among the top 100. These positions vary daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the challenges was a competition in itself, the Business Pitch Challenge and the top 7 learners were invited to Cape Town to present their pitch in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is where Sarah Gopal was the runner-up with her \u201cIce Cream Dream\u201d pitch. Sara, in Grade 9, won a cash prize. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
