In aid of the Uitenhage SPCA, which largely depends on the support of the public and local businesses to keep its doors open, Market Square Volkswagen has embarked on a Furry Friends Drive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe prompt the public to check out the SPCA wish list, drop off their wish list donation at the Market Square Volkswagen dealership to receive in return a lucky draw ticket and then to be at our Family Day in order to be eligible to claim the prize,\u201d said Martin Barnard, dealer principal at Market Square Volkswagen Uitenhage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are various lucky draw prizes with the main prizes being one night for two at the Royal St Andrews Hotel or one night for two at The Windermere by Mantis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe SPCA fulfils an enormous task rescuing animals and taking care of them, whilst financially struggling owing to non-commitment from local authorities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe appreciate what the SPCA is doing and therefore wish, our Furry Friends Drive and the support of the public, to assist wherever we can,\u201d said Barnard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Market Square Volkswagen Family Day will be held on April 27th from 09:00 to 13:00 where there will be test drives, lots of fun for the kids like jumping castles and light refreshments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lucky draw will be at 12:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
