ONE of Voetsac Hiking Club\u2019s long-standing hikers, Peet Claasen, has started a hiking group called \u201cThe Early Bird Hikers\u201d which early on Saturdays will take scenic foot paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The hikes will start at 05:00 and will be moderate with distances between 6km to 8km and the duration will be approximately 3 hours (before it gets too hot).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting place is at 6 Papenkuil Street, just around the corner from Absa bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This group will operate only until the end of March 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Claasen wants to form an Early Birds Whatsapp group of keen hikers and all interested in joining this group are requested to contact him on 083 299 1826.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
