RIEBEEK College Girls\u2019 High School is proud of the school\u2019s 100% pass rate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are proud of our teachers and learners who have worked consistently and with great drive and passion,\u201d said Kieran Stear, principal of Riebeek College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are aware that results alone do not define the success of an individual and so we recognise the many strides made by the Class of 2019 to reach personal goals in their academics, character development and in the sporting and cultural sphere.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stear also congratulated Solomon Mahlangu High School whose pass rate is above 90% and ranked third in the Uitenhage area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Riebeek\u2019s Sinomtha Mshweshwe, who will be studying a BSc at University of Western Cape, and Aviwe Mali, who will be studying towards a BA in Social Sciences at the University of the Free State, said, \u201cWe are very happy now and thrilled to have maintained Riebeek\u2019s tradition of 100% pass rate. We felt the weight of this remarkable achievement that we continued to strive towards.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nine of the 75 Riebeek matrics attained an A aggregrate. They are: Meaghan Botha, Lerise Johnson, Zeenat Lukie, Casey Els, Aarifah Liberty, Monique Balie, Amy Higgins, Rayna Gajjar and Liyabona Mgushelo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meaghan Botha achieved seven distinctions: (English Home Language 81%, Afrikaans First Additional Language 86%, Mathematics 87%, Life Sciences 84%, Geo-graphy 92%, Life Orientation 93% and Physical Sciences 83%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zeenat Lukie, Riebeek\u2019s head girl from the Class of 2019 said: \u201cNow it\u2019s time to say hello to new adventures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
