Let\u2019s take charge and turn our nation from a Junk Nation to a Hunk Nation.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brian Davids from Uitenhage is an employee at the department of correctional services and the creator of PrisonDent, a motivational character striving to bring along change, encouraging the youth to \u201cknow better for they have to do better \u2026 as the youth is the future of our beloved country.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said, whilst President Cyril Ramaphosa will tonight focus on the state of the nation in his address, PrisonDent focusses specifically on the youth, the next generation of South Africans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe youth have to know better by building strong bridges to cross their tomorrows. They have to conquer gangsterism, drugs, xenophobia, dropping out of school, early pregnancies, violence in schools and a low self esteem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey need to change their mindsets as currently the future does not look good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut, it is in the hands of our youth, our next generation, to bring along change where Madiba\u2019s values of peace, forgiveness, compassion and human dignity flourish.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PrisonDent concluded his Soga saying: \u201cPrior to \u201894 it was said that we cannot play normal sport in an abnormal society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cToday we cannot practise normal education in a violent society.
