The goal of the partnership is to encourage domestic travel to the Bay and local travel within it, to create knowledge around the product offerings of the area with an aim to increase income for the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is important for Isuzu as a corporate resident of the Bay to be part of the revival of our local economy and our communities,\u201d said Mandlakazi Sigcawu, Isuzu Executive, Corporate and Public Affairs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTogether we hope to give the region in which we operate the boost it so desperately needs. The objectives of the giant frames are to encourage domestic and local travel; to make residents aware of Nelson Mandela Bay\u2019s beauty; and to promote tourism on social media platforms. By visiting these frames, Isuzu and the Tourism Directorate encourage the sharing of experiences, by using the #ShareTheBay hashtag on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to have the historic and locally-made Isuzu brand on board as a vehicle partner to some of our programmes, and we look forward to building a relationship with a brand that represents adventure, and in turn links with our tourism marketing objectives,\u201d said Siphokazi Ngombane, acting Director of Tourism for the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isuzu and Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism recently invited the local media to join them on a Heritage Drive, visiting the five giant yellow photo frames as well as various other places of interest in the Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local media were invited to join Isuzu and Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism on a Heritage Drive in Nelson Mandela Bay.
