The Shavathon fundraising events at Corkwood Square shopping centre in Kariega as well as at Pick n Pay Despatch, were held last Saturday in support of the Cancer Association of South Africa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CANSA thanked those brave enough to have their hair sprayed in colours and those even braver who had their hair shaved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One woman opted for the \u201cKindest Cut\u201d to have her hair cut off in a 25cm ponytail, to be donated for a wig to cancer survivors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many donations are required to make a single wig and it is also necessary to match hair colours and texture for a wig. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
