On August 16, learner\u2019s license applicants used the Sundays River Valley Municipality\u2019s (SRVM) computerised learners license testing system for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new system which comprises of six tablets, will reduce fraud and corruption during application and issuing of learner\u2019s licenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SRVM conducts learners\u2019 tests for Code 1 (Motorcycle), Code 2 (Light motor vehicle) and Code 3 (Heavy motor vehicle).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost for the learner\u2019s test is R213 and an additional R69 for issuing of the learner\u2019s license for applicants who pass the test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants are required to bring along their Identity Document or passport, two Identity Document photos and proof of address when they make their booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The eye test will be conducted at the SRVM\u2019s Traffic Unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learners license applicants are urged to visit the <\/span><\/a><\/a>National Traffic Information System<\/a> to download documents to read and prepare for the test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
