The organisation remains a valuable resource for doctors who depend on them to transport their patients to receive medical care. Medical conditions vary from cancer, organ transplants, rare diseases, and heart conditions, to bone marrow transplants amongst others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWings & Wishes is so much more than just the sponsorship of a flight or a bus. They are the light in the dark tunnel for families in their journey navigating life with a sick child. It takes away some of the stress of worrying how to get to medical treatment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs Wings & Wishes does not receive any government funding, the organisation is hard at work to raise the necessary funds to assist on average three children and an accompanying adult per day, seven days per week!,\u201d Human said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Saturday, September 30 they are hosting a dance at the Ernest Swanepoel Hall in Despatch. Everyone is welcome to come in their best country hat and jeans to help make a difference in a child\u2019s life. Tickets are available from Megan, 071 410 0153 at R100 per person.
