UITENHAGE High School, an institution with a rich history spanning six decades, is set to mark its 60th anniversary milestone with a day filled with diverse and engaging activities on Saturday, March 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The festivities kick off in the morning with a lively 5km Fun Run\/Walk, commencing at 08:00 from the school premises. Registration is open on Friday, March 1, from 15:00 \u2013 18:00, and on the event day from 07:00 \u2013 08:00. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants can register for R20 per person, and entry forms are available at the school office. For more details, contact PJ Radcliffe at 084 730 5665.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Simultaneously, the school invites all to join the UHS fete, beginning at 08:00. This vibrant event at Uitenhage High School promises an array of food stalls (including halaal options), live entertainment, and a lively atmosphere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fete is open to learners, parents, and the broader community, free of charge. Vendors interested in hosting a stall can contact the school office at 041 992 5020 or Mrs M Dolley at 084 300 3501. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stall bookings are available at R500. It\u2019s an ideal family day out, and your support is eagerly anticipated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the day transitions into the evening, Uitenhage High School presents an Evening of Jazz featuring national artist Don Vino, along with Dr Beat, Marcellus, Curtis & Band, in the Uitenhage High School quad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event, designed for adult enjoyment, opens its gates at 19:30, with tickets priced at R150. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tickets are available from any Uitenhage High School staff member and the school office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
